When my children wake up. They wake up! Out of bed and into breakfast.

Why Hello There! Hola!
I know. It's been a while. I turned 32 while I was away and this past weekend we baptized my daughter. So, yes I have been a little busy.

Life is good. Turning 32 made me realize how much I have changed. How much my 30s are making me into who I really am. Not really carefree but a little more free of cares that I had when I was in my 20s. I now realize how much I cared about what others thought, how much I worried about whether or not people liked me, how much I cared about anything really. Not that I don't care anymore just that those type of things about life I don't have time for because I chase a 3 year old and 2 year old around all day which consume my life and I love that!
I don't want to have to worry about those things happening around me. I know that a lot of it affects my everyday and my family but at the end of the day if my kids and my Hubby are taken care of, then I have done my job for that day and that is what I care about the most.
I take it one day at a time and I take in those small things in life that will one day disappear. I want to make my 30s the years that created the best part of my life. I believe that by eliminating unnecessary, I will accomplish that. Life is difficult enough with the necessary if I crowd it with too much of the {for lack of a better word} "blah", I loose sight of what is really important.
These days I plan to enjoy my life, my family, and move forward. Less clutter and more simple. Having fun and being "young". One day it will all be over and if I spent my life stuck or dwelling on things, situations or people who are not allowing me to be me and relax, then I think my life will have been horribly spent.
My life as a 30-something year old should be....Simple. Happy. Care free. Kinda. Trust me. I am not saying that I will some how avoid challenges or difficulties. No. I know life is hard and we must deal with it. But, I am saying that I refuse to allow the unnecessary to crowd me.
I have done so much in my 20s and I think others don't know that about me or forget. But, I have. College life, Dating life, Marriage, Married life, Life itself and all it's turmoils in-between...I wanted to have children in my late 20s early 30s for a reason. I enjoyed my life before them and now I cherish my life with them. I refuse to allow the unnecessary things to crowd my vision of a happy and enjoyable next 8 years, until I enter the next decade of my life.
Life is life. It's what you make of it. I have made it what it is and it has taken me over 15 years to get here... and trust me. This is only the beginning.
Happy Monday everyone!

{2 years of Cami} Letters to my Daughter...
{Dear, Camila Isabel}

You go by many nicknames but you are simply my precious gift. I love you. As you turn 2 my heart skips a beat just like the day we met. Your heart melted into mine and our lives forever linked. No matter how old you and I grow, life is our canvass and your smile paints it of sunshine and pure love.
You are my ever growing skinny long leg beauty. So, sweet and wild. So, beautiful and so smart! You are indeed a silly Daddy's girl and a super girly Momma's baby. You have an spunky little attitude and won't take "no" for an answer. You have a million and ONE questions daily and you talk to everyone about anything. You can literally talk up a storm and the silence is your playground.
You are very interested in; who everyone is, what everyone is doing and what everything is, oh yes, and "how it work?". You are our little P.I., always seeking and always smiling. You love to hug your Brother 'Tavo, who some days doesn't give you the time of day.. you are patient, he is a boy. You also stand your ground with him and fight back now... only later to give up and follow his direction. He loves you. You are his Sis'der.
We hug you and kiss you, and you say.. "Dat'nasty?" but still you are loved and cared for. We give you what you want and when we lay down the law you get overly dramatic, lots.
You love make up and play with dolls but you are also a little tomboy and can run and play with your Brother all day long. You love to go outside. Your favorite food is bananas. Your favorite snacks are anything with "pica on it". You love spicy food and you can eat just about anything no matter how spicy. You are tough but a soft and gentle baby. We love you.
Two years ago today you came into our lives as a Beautiful Blessing. Today, you run our home and stole our hearts. You and I share a love for your "Ta-ddy" and your brother "Tavo". You are girlier than me; you know how to put make-up on better than me and I am sure you own more shoes than me! You are heartfelt and passionate about singing with your Daddy, you sing all his favorites and you are not shy! You love us as much as we love you...You are my Princess!!
Life would not be the same without you and we love you more than words can describe. Yesterday, today and always!
Happy Birthday My LOVE!!!!
Love Always,
Your Momma

{2012} In Review
It's crazy to think that just yesterday, or so it seems like it, 2012 was just starting so fresh, so new......
Then I looked at my first post from 2012; and WOW! What a difference a year makes:
In March; Cami turned ONE! We had a fiesta and a wave of Momma-melt downs began. Many may not know this but this year I battled fiercely with Momma Blues {some type of PPD}. It wasn't fun, therapy helped and after a major melt-down and full-blown panic attack in September, I quit my Full-time job to be a Stay-@-Home-Momma. {Read about it ::here:: ::here:: and ::here::}
In May; My Hubby graduated from college with his Bachelor's degree!!!! GO HUBBY & GO COOGS!!! Whoop-Whoop!!!
In June; I turned 31. Officially a year in my 30's in 6 months, I will be 32! Wow, just yesterday, I was 18. Wow.
In July; The Hubby landed a pretty sweet job opportunity and it's helped us realize a lot about ourselves and our accomplishments. My Hubby is incredibly smart and an amazingly hard working person. I love him. Lots.
In August; My Hubby turned 33! Wow! We met when he was 17. Crazy huh?
In September; My Santi turned 3!!! 3!!!! He won't be a baby much longer...makes me sad. A lot. A lot! I also quit my job this month after a not so good event; to become a Stay-@-Home-Momma. Which may be ending soon... because well... it just happens...
In October; a new journey began and I attended my FIRST ever official BLOGGER Conference!!!! Thanks to the Latism Houston Chapter and their sponsorship!!!! Say whaaaa'?? It was great, great month!!! ::PICTURES HERE::
Now it's December 31st, the last day of the year... it's bittersweet....leaving behind all the good and the BAD that happened in 2012 but always remembering that NO MATTER what God was there with us EVERY.SINGLE.STEP.OF.THE.WAY.
As a constant reminder of my faith in 2012, I had some very, very harsh moments but I remained faith-ful and in prayer and God knew when I should have a melt-down and when I needed to be fierce! In everything I did in 2012; failures, successes, happiness, sadness, tears and joy...I honestly looked for God and trusted in Him to give me ever lasting strength... everyday. Every time. As I sit here on the last day of 2012; I want to thank not only my friends and family who remained constant and by my side with their never ending love and support but also Thank You to all the NEW and amazing friends that I added to my Blog, Facebook, and contact book! I love you all and I pray that you and your families have an amazingly wonderful new year!!!!!
Many Blessings.

{Houston Area Women's Center} #stoptheviolence
Many may not know this about me but I have witnessed violence in the home first hand. {I don't plan on giving out details, when it happened I told many people in hopes that it would ease the pain, I went to church, I spoke to my Boyfriend-He is now my Husband, I wrote about it, I cried about it, I thought about dying at my own hands over it. It was not the best time in my life but I also don't want to harm those whom I love with details or remembering what was. I lived through it. I survived and so did she.}
I was going to post about this regardless but with what happened on Friday I decided to make it a mini-series on my Blog. #stoptheviolence
Domestic Violence of any form is a difficult and tramautizing experience. Trust me. I have been there. In the dark with the thought of, what if I just stop breathing, it will stop the pain. After years of it and fed up, I was grown and after feeling powerless at one point in my life, I had suddenly gained strenght, wisdom, age and courage. Courgae that was built after years of horrifiying stories, first hand accounts, and one call to the HAWC. I stood in a room, with the adrelanie rush and telling my story of intervention, prevention and attempting to save a life. I then found myself in a waiting room on Montrose. Could this be real? ME. I was living this. With a loved one. So much pain. So many terrify events. The emotional. The physical. The abuse on so many levels. The pain on a level I never knew I could reach.
After days, weeks and months of healing...now years... the pain, empowerment. The memories, my strength and my courage. I will never, NEVER allow this to happen to a loved one EVER. Again.
Which is why I am here now. Telling you that if you are suffering ANY kind of abuse you too can overcome, survive and heal.
3 weeks ago I was invited to attend the taping of Great Day Houston. I sat in the audience and a first hand account of what live TV is like. It was exciting and an awesome opportunity. But, I wasn't sure if anyone else was there for the same reason that I was. I had survived violence in the home. I was there to assist in representing the Houston Area Women's Center, we wore red. The color of pain and hope when you live through and survive what I have see, heard and lived. I felt honored. Humbled. And, an amazingly overwhelming feeling to have been able to put YEARS of violence behind me. Years of silence in the open. It's a freeing sitiuation.

I am here today to ask you to donate and help in any way possible for an extremenly good cause. One that saved my life and that of my loved ones. One that has restored my faith in life, love and marriage.
I thank the Houston Area Women's Center for one day holding our hand and giving us hope.
I thank Frida for the opportunity and allowing me to be a part of something so great and simple as to sit and represent a cause and for a place that one day harvested safety and new hope for those of us who have lost it.

{Blah-ness & a Girls Lunch} ♥
I don't ever want my Blog to be overwhelming or forced...it's never been my intention to just write....whether my purpose was to learn to write or share my everyday life it was never intended to be fake or meaningless and without purpose....with that said.
This week I went through a bit of a BLAH moment. I am sure you have had those weeks. Where you just don't want to do, be, or write. I have them and I take advantage of them to think, to recollect, to regroup, and to just be. The weather in Houston has been "icky" for lack of a better word. This week we had kind of a gloomy start with clouds, rain and a blueish silver tone to the sky. No? Maybe it was just me. When the weather is "blue", I get BLAH. It's not fun. "Blame it on the rain...."{no pun intended. Haha.}
I am sure I have written about my down moments in the past and really I don't think it's a bad thing. I think a little break and a melodramatic meltdown are in order to write heartfelt and genuine posts!
I think....
Needless to say. This week was really exciting and definitely a productive one! {But, Now I have some Blogging to catch up...don't be surprised if I double up on post this weekend!}
Not only did I finish putting my Christmas tree up but I finished washing laundry...does anyone want to come over and fold it and put it away for me? Hahaha. {BTW. I am adding some Ha's as opposed to my regular. Ha. Because apparently my Hubby has been reading my Blog and he doesn't like the way my ONE Ha. READS. Critics, I tell ya'....Ha. Ha.}

By Thursday I had done so much that I took on a little extra "task" which I will write about in another post..just because the topic is very near and dear to my heart. And, this morning I thought a girls lunch would be a nice treat! So, I headed out to Northside Houston, to meet up with some good friends that I used to work with... I have only been gone from work for about 2 months and it feels like forever!!! We went to one of our favorite places....Teotihuacan. We had an awesome time and the food was YUMMA!!
My friend Pam, gave my Cami and my friend Christina's daughter Celeste some SOAP. It's not just any soap and as soon as I have the information I will totally give it to you. Because not only are they super cute soaps, they smell good and are made from the best products. I can't wait to get more information. Pam's Son and Daughter-in-Law make them...I thought it was a very thoughtful and creative gift! The girls loved it. I have some pretty amazing friends!!!
And, now since I figured Flickr out...some pictures! Yay!

To Be Thankful ♥
Hello All.
It's Monday!
And, guess what? I survived Thanksgiving.
We were not ready, the day came too soon, but still we made it out alive! And, with lots of great memories that I am more than Thankful for!
The day started off slow and then friends, family, food and laughter overcame our home! It was an amazing time. My kids had too much fun, we ate too much food and we can't wait for it again NEXT year! Ha.
God has definitely Blessed our little family this year in many ways! I know that we should be thankful everyday of the year but I like Thanksgiving in particular and I see it as a day to reflect on the past 11 months and await the next month to end and a NEW year to begin! 2013 will be here before we know it. And, this year I am not only thankful for life itself but for everything good and bad that 2012 brought me. The good always outweighing the bad.
We are ready for a new beginning for a fresh start and Thanksgiving is that link between those two locations...the now and the future. I thank God everyday for the health and safety of my family and the strength and faith that He has rooted in our hearts! We are transformed and Blessed because of Him. This year has proven to be a challenge and only because of Him and His grace have we made it through it all.
I hope that your Thanksgiving was filled with Blessings, reflections and new beginnings. Here is a little picture re-cap of ours!
Pictures are in no particular order and include our Thanksgiving feast at Santi's school! Enjoy!!
As you can see it was just the right amount of heart, food and holiday cheer! Counting down to Christmas and New Years!
Happy Thanksgiving from Team Gomez!!!

No. Really. Thanksgiving is next week!
I am NO where.near.being.ready.for.a.holiday!
Seriously. I have no clue what I will make. I have NO decorations up...Not sure why but I am not too bummed about that.
We have a very BIG family. My Hubby's family lives minutes away from us, while my family lives about an hour or so away in Downtown Houston. Before we had kids there was never a discussion, we could go to one house and then the next.... then came the grand-kids. The "discussion" was, where will we go first...well last year I decided to end that discussion and have the first ever Gomez/Leon Family Thanksgiving here in our home. It was awesome we had a lot of fun, too much food and lots to be Thankful for...this will be the second year!
Only this year..I am not sure why but my focus and brain are elsewhere...I want my children to have this family sense of Thanksgiving and realize that we are thankful and should be thankful that we have two amazing families that want to spend the Holiday's with us, together! But, I don't know why I am also thinking that less is more this year...in part because I don't have a full-time outside the home job right now, for the first time in the last 6 years.....
I want my children to value being humble and poor in spirit as well as family and feasting. Tomorrow we will celebrate Thanksgiving with Santi at his school, our FIRST time ever and for some reason...I have a feeling that, that moment will count for many Thanksgiving to come...
The creation and Blessing of our own little family...Team Gomez ::party of FOUR:: has been more than enough for me and any added Blessings are well...just that....added Blessings.
I don't want my children to think that Thanksgiving is only about the super yummy food you get to eat ::just sayin':: but also about being Thankful that we have the food... and that we are able to share our table with loved ones.
I pray that God can help me portray this and convey it in a manner that my children can understand not just this year but years to come....
We have SO much to be Thankful for this year... and I just hope everyone who has helped us get here to this place, realizes how much we appreciate them! And, yes...how very Thankful we are to have them in our lives.... {Ignore my funny smile face in the picture below... the day was super sunny!} Ha.

{"Thank You Mami"}
It's those simple moments when you realize that there is nothing that can compare or take the place of what it is or means to be a Momma.....
3 years ago I never thought that becoming a Momma would be so difficult, so stressful, so overwhelming... Today, I know that it's difficult but seeing my son and daughter laugh and enjoy life every second of the day is amazing.
I know it's stressful but for them, I can manage.
It's overwhelming but hearing them say those 3 words everyday...."Thank You Mami" makes EVERYTHING worth it.
Today as I changed my Santi he grabbed my face with his two chubby hands and said... "thank you mami"...
Today as I cut up fruit for my Cami and handed it to her she grabbed her plate with her tiny fingers and said...."thank you mami"...
I am so Blessed to have had the ability to carry and give birth to TWO beautiful children.
Who yes, turn my world upside down in a matter of minutes but
can also make my heart sing joy and love in a matter of seconds.
They are my life...
They make me a Momma...
They say "Thank You" and I melt....
What can I say...I am weak that way.
Blessed Night to everyone...
And, I pray that you can find those 3 words that make
being a Momma all the more enjoyable...
no matter what today brought you..
God is there with you.

{Band-Aides} & Election Night
My son is under the impression that a Band-Aid will fix everything.
Will heal all.
And, will protect him from pain.
If only it were that easy.
As an adult I know the truth.
Truth which I can't allow to overwhelm me
even on my worse days...
Truth that one day will be Victory.
Truth that is peace at times of chaos.
Today.
I pray that your band-aid is present.
That your healer is truth and that God can create that
peace that no physical band-aid can ever create.
Truth is.
God is my band-aid and HE is my Truth.
I am not perfect.
But, still I know that
He has never doubted me..
even though sometimes..
I have doubts about it all.
I am attempting to do this whole writing a post a day thing for a whole month...
I have only missed one day so far...and like with everything else in life...
I will NOT give up.
I will not allow pain to over come or overwhelm...
and I will move forward no matter what.
Oh yes, AND it's Election Night.

{On Following your dreams.....}
4 Weeks ago I quit my job, the same day I was notified that I would be sponsored to attend the LATISM conference, in the same week I was offered a pretty good full-time job which I declined. Crazy busy week?
Yes, kind of.
But, after attending the conference and meeting Lisa, Ruby, Ariana and many others, I learned that following your dreams NO matter what they may be is important. I am 31 years old. My kids are 3 years old and 18 months. If not now, when? When would I get another opportunity to purse and conquer... or what ever that saying is. Ha.
Probably never.
Now is the time. Do what you like. Take action. And, move forward! It's all I know.
Never give up and move on.
I believe and I have faith that a new future with brightness and happiness is out there for me... how long will take for me to achieve it? I don't know just yet. But, I do know I will not give up....
I will move on. For myself and for my children. They deserve a happy and available Momma. And, after meeting so many GREAT Momma's at the LATISM Conference I know that dreams come true and that dream jobs do exist! I want to get hired to my DREAM job. And, I will NOT give up!
No me dare por vencida.... nunca!

No me dare por vencida.... nunca!

{Patience} ♥
I have this son. He is 3 years old.
He's more than a Blessing...at times he is my teacher.
I am very impatient. Very. Not good. Trust me. I know.
He is just like me.
Everything NOW. Not later.
But, some days he teaches me that patience is the only way.
I have caught him several times now, waiting on me.
{It's usually to hit play on the DVD or computer screen to get his favorite movie going.}
The same boy that I just told 20 times to stop, wait and not touch.
He sits and waits.
Quietly.
Patiently.
Because he knows.
That if he waits just long enough for me.
I will come to his rescue.
Every time.
If only.
I had that same patience.
To wait. To endure. To sit quietly. To be patient!
I would know that at the end of the wait...there is reward...
that which you have asked for comes with patience.
It's what I have learned from my 3 year old son..
he is wise beyond his years and my little man.
As an adult.
It's easier said than done...
I love him for being a great teacher...
{Isaiah 40:31} Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

{Thankful Thursday} #latism
This week I am most Thankful for:
{Support} Especially from my Husband.The last month or so have not been easy. He has been there. I have cried more than usual. My Husband has calmed me down, a few times over the phone because he wasn't here physically. I love him. I give him a hard time. I shouldn't. He is my rock. Through it all.
{Non-Momma friends} Being a Momma I tend to gravitate towards Momma friends and forget that I have SO many amazing friends who are hardworking Wives and FRIENDS! The past few weeks have been filled with many great conversations of motivation and life. I love it. I thank God for them very much and appreciate EVERY woman in my life, past and present!
{Kids Birthday Parties} It reminds me I am not the only person with children who like to loudly express themselves as this is a free world right! Ha. Some of you may not know but last week my family and I were at a FAMILY restaurant {Chili's} and a lady MOVED because apparently my children didn't know "how to use their inside voice"... well Sunday we went to a birthday party at a bowling alley...seeing SO many kids of all ages run around, speak loudly WHILE INDOORS, and just BE themselves as we ALL have the right to BE, made me feel welcomed and as if I belonged better yet my CHILDREN were accepted! I loved that!
{Blessings} As some of you may know I quit my job to become a Full-time Stay at Home Momma...a Blessing in itself and dream come true...On my last day of work my brother graduated from the Culinary Institute and I was contacted about attending a BLOGGER CONFERENCE! My first!!!! Ever. I am so very excited, nervous and anxious. It's been a huge Blessing and I can't wait!
As you can tell, this Momma has been well... a bit busy! Thank You to everyone who has been there and Thank You to all of our new readers! I have been promising change for a while now and now...it will come!
Hope you stick around or join us!

{Plans & Schedules) #latism
Funny story.
I have these super awesome plans and great schedules dreamed up in my mind and I am sure that after only a week of following them I could, may or should fail but guess what.....I don't plan on giving up!
I want to be that Momma! ::insert sky opening heavens shinning thru and God smiling down at me:: or not.
For now; we {Cami and I} are cleaning, cooking, napping, grocery shopping and paying bills. Camila doesn't mind that my schedules are not working out....and she is doing just fine as long as her breakfast, lunch and dinner come in that order!
I can't get hung up on what is or will come.... I can only do my best and move forward....
My Momma friends have told me their tips and their schedules and trust me they are some pretty busy gals... as for me... I am not sure what I will ultimately be but in the mean time... we shall see? Ha.
I have a week and a half left before I attend the Latism Conference. I am already learning a lot and trying to make new Bloggy friends so that I am not so lonely, either way I am so Blessed to have been given this opportunity and can't wait to take full advantage of it! Really excited. I made some temporary business cards and can't wait for my real ones to get approved, trying to design them myself and create a Momma of Dos logo! It's a lot of work... I am thinking of consulting a professional. We shall see... God is in control...
Happy Schedules!

Only He knows the truth... my plans and schedules....if they are not surrounded by God's will, they just will not happen, at least not how I would want them to. Therefore...I am not only planning what life "should" be like in my home but also what I want it to grow into in my heart and soul.....and I will pray that if it is God's will today, tomorrow or next week then it will be done.

Countdown! {14days...}
As I mentioned! The countdown is ON!!!
The excitement is building and well the anticipation is killing me!
How will it all look and turn out...
I am still looking for a cake maker, must settle that this week!
In the meantime I got an email that the invites were shipped! Will totally have a sneak peek at those next week!
Then it will be a mad dash to get them out to everyone!
Today is a beautiful day outside! I am obviously in an "!" using kinda mood!
My Husband has been working all weekend...go figure it's been a beautiful weekend and he has to be in an office working... the kids and I enjoyed our morning outside, now they are resting and guzzling some Gatorade.
I pray everyone has an amazingly Blessed Sunday..I am off to watch a live streaming church service....
Here are some pictures from our morning:

{9 Months Cami} ♥
On Christmas Day my Cami turned 9 months.
{Yes, this post is 7 days late but that doesn't matter I have to do it.}
Camila Isabel {9 Months}
My Cami is....
Love
Girly
Tough
Patience
Smiles
FAITH
HOPE
Sunshine
Laughter
Sweetness
Peace
Softness
Squeezable
Hug-able
Kissable
a Blessing
Our Cami is an amazing little fireball made of sugar and spice with a hint of cinnamon, no really she loves syrup and is sticky..lots. Ha. She is definitely my little sidekick she wakes up early with me, with a HUGE smile on her face, ready to start our day. She sits patiently as I click away on the keyboard and eats her breakfast as if she knows not to make noise for the boys. She is my beautiful little lady who loves playing dress up and doesn't mind Momma's camera in her face. She is the new love in our lives... Santi, Ricardo and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fit to this little family of FOUR! Making me the happiest most Blessed Momma of Dos ever. Camila, you will learn that your brother pushes you, punches you and LOVES you all at once. Your Daddy melts every.single.time he sees you. He will cry the day he walks you down the aisle. I am so Blessed to know what it's like to have a daughter. You are Blessed to be a part of this family. We are NOT perfect. We are Loud. But we LOVE one another more than life! Don't forget that when people fail you...God will NEVER leave your side. Lean on His words, His grace and His power all the days of your life and you can never go wrong. Being a girl is tough, we must stick together, grow up fast, learn everything at once and do it all in under 20 seconds, if you have patience life will treat you well, be slow to anger and even slower to respond to anything spoken against you. God knows your heart and with that your heart will be complete. Know that we love you so much and that you are the BEST person to have come into our lives in 2011. We can't wait for the days to come....
You will be ONE in 3 short months... I can't believe that!

Oh, CHRISTmas Tree ♥
This year our Christmas tree isn't overflowing with presents. And, no we are not trying to teach our children a lesson, they are too little to understand. This year God has decided that as adults, my Husband and I, should learn about Love, FAITH, and having one another.
My Hubby has never really been one to worry about presents anyway, me on the other hand... I wasn't always that way... times are hard and people struggle. God knows our hearts and what we really need in our lives, or who we really need in our lives.God has provided for us in the most amazing manner. And given us the best friends any couple could wish for...
This year God has been good to us. A new baby girl to spend Christmas eve with, a Hubby who is ALMOST done with school, and new job to better support my family. I have slowly learned that Christmas..and life in general is not about the gifts you receive but about the type of Blessing you are...
Just the other night...I handed a man at a gas station $7.00 {It's all the cash I had. It was cold. And he was standing outside the gas station with his 2 young daughters and teenage son. I saw this man being humbled and not ashamed to reflect need....times are hard., he simply said..."God Bless you ma'am." It filled my heart and the tears didn't stop...
I hear of so many families who lose their little ones for various reasons, of marriages that can't conceive and pray every night for a child, of parents who intentionally hurt their children and themselves, and I look at my two special little Blessings and my heart is OVER flowing....
Marriages that fall apart or are in crisis, Husband's and Wives that cheat on one another, or are disrespectful to each other...and sitting next to me is an Oger to the world and a soft mushy bear to ME...my heart has been complete.....
This Christmas I am Blessed. And, I have learned that it doesn't matter what you receive as long as you are a Blessing to others...nothing else matters...
To be Humble, Self-less, Forgiving, Merciful, Loving and Faith-filled... That is my Blessing..
I pray that EVERYONE has an amazing
and most Blessed Christmas eve...
and a FAITH-FILLED CHRISTMAS DAY!
FROM TEAM GOMEZ WITH LOVE!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

{Thankful Thursdays} LINK UP!
It's a little late but here I go....
This week I am most Thankful for:
My Momma's of Faith {They are 3 GREAT friends that I have made and met ONLINE. Yes. ONLINE. But, we are great friends together and to each other. We had dinner this week and it was AMAZING. We ate, we talked, we laughed and have that one great FRIEND day for the week! It totally rocked my socks!}
Pizza {Without it, I wouldn't have been sitting on the couch, gazing into my ALMOST TWO YEAR OLD'S most Beautiful, Big Dark Brown eyes as I wiped tomato sauce off his mouth and chin and cheeks.... He is perfect....}
Mornings { I am in deed a MORNING person. I love it. I love the sun. When it's up and out so am I! I love it. Did I say that already? My favorite time these days is saying Good Morning to my new little ray of light, MY CAMBAM. She is ALSO a morning person! She SMILES from ear to ear as I say "Good Mornin'Mama!" That more than makes my day!!}
Finally....
Dress shoes and Socks on the living room floor { It reminds me that I have a soul mate in my home, that the Lord has given my home a provider. It reminds me that my Husband has a stable job that he went to that day. It reminds me that I am a Wife and that I fell in love with THAT man....}
That's all.
{Great Thursday to Everyone!}

A Summer nights Dream.....
On this hot Summer night....I dream.
I have lived my life for 30 years,
On this breezy, warm evening I whisper to God.... Please let time stand still.
This moment with my son; his cheerful smile and exploring eyes. This time of holding my daughter so close and protected by my heart. This night of chatting away with my Husband about life and what's to come.
This God given evening of Love and playful fun with my family.
It all comes down to the little red wagon being pulled by my Husband {32 this year} as he huffs and puffs; inside the wagon...my son, Santi {21 months}, my daughter CamBam {2 months} and myself {almost 30 years old}...on this evening we are all children of an all mighty God and we are Blessed.
The silence. The breeze. Our conversation. Santi's laughter. Camila's silence. It's all perfect. I think of my life before my own little family of Four.... the chaos, the pain, the anguish...and nothing makes more sense than where I am now.
The peace. The Faith. The future. LOVE. Family.
My heart melts in the evening sun and my soul floats onto cloud nine..... drifted away with a lullaby...and lifted by the soft angels in my arms...
This is where my life is today.....
....and I am Thankful. I am Blessed.
And it all comes down to that little red wagon on this hot Summer night....
Nunca me lo imagine asÃ......

Momma of Dos.
My life has not been the same the last 29 months.
I've had DOS {2} children.
Been pregnant for 16 of the 29 months.
I have a 20 month old and a 7 week old.
Emotions sometimes run high and other times run low.
My FAITH has grown.
Patience has been built, as I imagine it is only the beginning. Because in case you haven't done the math I will have a 13 and 14 year old on my hands, although I hear the tween-age years are not much easier.
We will also have a 19 year old and an 18 year old, meaning...they will hopefully, be attending college one after the other....
Scary. Sure. Worried. Not really. I know God has brought us this far and if my children { I pray that with our example of being college graduates that they will follow BUT I hear THAT is not always the case} decide to go to school, then at the time God will have allowed us to prepare and build up some nice college funds.
The last 29 months have been a culmination to the last 12 years and ONLY the beginning to the next 12 years and MORE.
In the last 12 years I have graduated college, bought a home, got married, and had children..my husband will have finished school and life will ONLY now begin. {Contrary to what I thought 12 years ago at 18 when I graduated High School....I thought that at 18 my life had only just begun....HA! HUGE HA!!! It was the same at 25...maybe in 5 years I will be saying that at 35 my life has just begun....} Why? Well we have reached some of our most important goals and accomplishments {FAITH, FAMILY, EDUCATION, AND STABILITY; all I think are constantly being built and maintained} and we also now have 2 lives to guide, to Love, to help fill with goals and accomplishments of their own, to be responsible for, to care for and protect.
I feel like this is God's way of telling us...remember that this life has never been about YOU. That was your selfish stage...you are now in the REAL and TRUE stage of your life... NEW LIFE through your children.
Last night we went out for a friends birthday. We were the only young couple of the 4 couples there that has children. They were surprised at the age difference. 18 months. There were questions about how "planned" it all was...it wasn't. I don't worry about it. There were thoughts of a THIRD child...yes...already...but I pray not now. Can I handle the DOS children that I have. Yes. Pretty well actually. Better than I thought I could. And, I heard it gets easier with time. I am sure it does. Can I handle Numero Tres, hmmm. Definitely not right now.
Questions of who watches my children came up. Can we afford daycare? Who can? It's ridiculous. But, when you think about it...they are watching your children. And you do get what you pay for. So, I don't think it matters as long as my children are well taken care of and safe.
In all how does it feel to be a Momma of Dos and where will I go from here?
My children are the biggest Blessing in our lives {my Hubby and I}. My biggest accomplishment. The one goal that I have reached that I will EVER care about! And it's amazing to be Loved, Kissed and Held {not only by God} but by my Dos little angels! They are my everything. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!!!!!
